Patrons Programme
Becoming a Jewish Care Patron gives you a window into the work of our charity and enables you to make a substantial difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Jewish Care will need over £100m over the next ten years to meet rapidly changing healthcare needs. A minimum of £40m of this money must be sourced from our community.

Jewish Care has a proud tradition of being at the forefront of health and social care provision.

It was the first communal organisation to dispense with wards and have individual rooms for its residents. We are now seeking to ensure our care can move forward in the 21st Century through developing:

  • two state-of-the-art residential homes and apartments for supported living in the heart of our community
  • a centre for wellbeing for the one in four in our community who at some point will have mental health needs
  • buildings that exceed health and safety requirements
  • homes and centres that are warm, modern, bright and inviting.

All these projects cost money and we rely on significant voluntary donations to cover the costs.

In addition we have an ongoing maintenance programme with refurbishments that cost in excess of £1m a year, for which we also need support.

There are many opportunities to remember loved ones by naming parts of buildings, or rooms in their memory.

To discuss supporting our capital programme for new buildings, or our ongoing capital maintenance and refurbishment programme please call 020 8922 2819 or email the Head of Capital Appeals
