Find out more about the support we offer people living independently.

We have five supported homes which act as a stepping stone for people who have a history of mental health needs and are working towards living independently once more.

Our houses in Willesden, Kilburn, Finchley and Golders Green are home to up to five people, aged 18+ who are active within the community but prefer to live in a more supportive environment.

Tenants each have their own bedroom and share kitchens, bathrooms and communal living rooms. Kashrut is observed and all tenants are Jewish.

The independent living team support tenants in their homes where they teach life skills and increase people's confidence. This may eventually enable tenants to move into independent accommodation, perhaps with a housing association that offers some level of continuing support.

Referrals
Referrals can be made by yourself, GPs, psychiatrists, social workers, carers, synagogues, families or friends - with the agreement of the client. On referral, an assessment will be made to evaluate a client's needs.

If you or someone you care about needs help, please contact Jewish Care Direct on: 020 8922 2222 or email us.
