The home occupies the original building on this site, which is shared with Osmond House and the Sobell @ Hampstead day centre.
It has a traditional feel to it, with an impressive staircase and chandelier dominating the entrance hall. The main dining room is still decorated with the original oak panelling.
Part of the Otto Schiff Housing Association (OSHA), which works in partnership with and is managed by Jewish Care, Leo Baeck House has experience and expertise in caring for people who experienced the horrors of the Nazi regime. In acknowledgment of this background, staff at Leo Baeck do not wear uniforms.

As well as a dining room and communal lounges, there is a patio set within the mature garden on site.
“Our residents are our priority, and at Leo Baeck House we believe that no matter how old or frail residents may be, their right for independence must be at the forefront of everything we do,” says the home's manager.
